2020 ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Contest Winners

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2020 ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Competition.
Haunting at 1600 by Asabi Lee & Paul Hart-Wilden has been selected from nearly 2500 entries as the Grand Prize Winner. They Live on Skid Row by Daniel Hanna has been selected as the Feature Winner; Paragone by Travis Neufeld has been selected as the TV Pilot Winner and The Mold by Jon Comulada has been selected as the Short Story Winner.
Haunting at 1600 is a feature about a newly inaugurated, first female, black President who discovers the White House is haunted and must fight for her and her family's survival without risking her landmark Presidency
They Live on Skid Row, is a feature about a zombie outbreak that spreads unnoticed through LA’s homeless and a teen runaway who must join forces with skid row’s resourceful street- dwellers to rescue her younger brother and survive the night.
Paragone is a one hour pilot about an alternate universe where the vast proliferation of paranormal entities has given rise to a multi-billion dollar paranormal remediation industry, a downtrodden crew of ParaGone™ ghost hunters work to uncover the truth about entities, the afterlife, and the agency they work for in a bid to stop one of the most violent malevolent entities in history.
The Mold is a short story about a young woman's battle against the mold in her shower descends into a nightmare, as the mold reveals itself to be something far more sinister.
In addition to the ScreenCraft team, this year's jury included executives from Blumhouse Productions, AMC Networks, Goal Post Pictures, Monkeypaw Productions and Screenwriter C. Robert Cargill.
