We are excited to announce the winners of the 2021 ScreenCraft True Story and Public Domain Screenplay Competition.

American Infamy by Takeo Hori has been selected from nearly 1200 entries as the Grand Prize Winner. Four Floors in Raqqa by Laila Ujayli and Zaina Ujayli has been selected as the Feature Winner; SCOTUS by Alan Jenkins has been selected as the TV Pilot Winner and The Porter and The Stone by Nuh Omar has been selected as the Short Script Winner.

American Infamy, is a feature, inspired by a true story: When a Japanese American teenager and his family are sent to an American concentration camp following the attack on Pearl Harbor, two brothers take radically different paths in their efforts to prove they are true Americans.

Four Floors in Raqqa is a feature based on a true story: a headstrong woman braves bombs and execution in ISIS-occupied Raqqa to protect her neighborhood and the home she built with her siblings.

SCOTUS is a pilot about young lawyers at the Supreme Court of the United States looking for love, sex, and belonging while tackling the most important and controversial questions of our time.

The Porter and The Stone is a short script based on ‘The Happy Prince’ by Oscar Wilde. In a tranquil square sits a golden Automaton. Overcome by the suffering of the people of his city, he enlists the help of a reluctant Swallow to bring some change to the world.

In addition to the ScreenCraft team, this year's jury included executives from Lighthouse Management, JuVee Productions, Oscar-winning Producer Blye Faust and Oscar-nominated Screenwriter, Robin Swicord.
