
ScreenCraft and media financier Bondit Media Capital are thrilled to announce the Winners of the Spring 2022 ScreenCraft Film Fund. These incredible projects will receive grant assistance and creative development support from the ScreenCraft team to help these projects advance through the filmmaking process.
The ScreenCraft Film Fund is administered biannually to talented writers and filmmakers with projects that display singular talent, originality, vision, impact and development potential. The program accepts documentary and feature submissions in addition to short films and online series.
The Fall 2022 ScreenCraft Film Fund opens for entries on March 31st and is pleased to welcome acclaimed filmmaker Mark Duplass as a mentor and juror.
Grand Prize Winners
Moving Bangladesh, a feature project by Nuhash Humayun follows a struggling middle-class Bangladeshi entrepreneur, stuck in traffic - and in life, as he creates a motorcycle travel app that may change transport in developing countries forever...but must overcome his skeptical family.
The Sea Cellar, an underwater wine adventure, is a feature documentary from Luigi Melecchi that tells the true story of one man’s visionary quest to revolutionize the wine industry by aging wines on the depths of the Ocean floor. We follow serial inventor and entrepreneur Manu, as he assembles his dream team - the ‘Three Musketeers’ - to undertake a revolutionary journey, one which could alter thousands of years of tradition in a new quantum leap for the winemaking process.
The Year Between, is a feature comedy written by Alex Heller. When Clemence, a college senior, is diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has to move back home to navigate treatment, she has to face battered relationships, the responsibilities of adulthood, and strip malls. Mental illness is one thing, but living in the burbs might be what actually kills her.
