Introducing the Judges

The deadline for Screencraft’s Screenwriting Fellowship is upon us! Let’s meet the judges:

• Don Handfield is a screenwriter, director and two-time Academy-Award nominee Jeremy Renner’s producing partner at The Combine, which he co-founded with Renner. He is also an experienced actor, and has written or sold projects to Paramount, DreamWorks, Warner Brothers, and Lionsgate.
• Jen Grisanti is an acclaimed writing instructor for NBC’s Writers on the Verge. She is also an author of many books on story, screenwriting and personal growth.  In addition to helping writers get Hollywood representation, she has helped over 40 TV writers get staffed on shows! 
• Michael Colleary has been a celebrated professional screenwriter for over two decades. His credits include such blockbusters as Face/Off and Lara Croft:  Tomb Raider. He is also a professor of screenwriting at UCLA.

There’s still time to enter, but the judges are reading NOW so get you script in fast.  The deadline is January 15 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. You could win a ticket to the Writers Guild of America Awards in New York City, a $1,000 stipend, round-trip travel to Los Angeles, a full year of ScreenCraft mentoring, and meetings with development executives, managers and agents!
