2014 ScreenCraft Family-Friendly Screenplay Contest Winners Announced

We're thrilled to announce This Old Man by Nicholas Oktaras as the winner of the 2014 ScreenCraft Family-Friendly Screenplay Contest. It's a grounded, funny and emotionally earnest story about a unique 10-year-old boy obsessed with growing up and the unexpected relationship he develops with an old man who has ties to his past. The script fits firmly in the family-friendly genre and has tremendous appeal.
We're also excited to highlight The Adventures of Wonder Rabbit by Robert S. Apetagon as our runner-up. The imaginative and cinematic script centers on a rabbit who, after being adopted by a widower and his young daughter and making friends with the animals in a condominium building, must rescue his new bunny friend after she is kidnapped by an army of technologically advanced owls who plan to use her as a pawn in their war against humans.
