Watch: New Trailer For The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Yesterday, Warner Bros. Pictures released the second trailer for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." The film will begin playing in U.S. theaters on December 13.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is the sequel to "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" by Peter Jackson. This will be the second of three films produced by MGM and Warner Bros that are adapted from "The Hobbit," the prequel novel to "Lord of the Rings" by JRR Tolkien.
