About the instructors: 

Farah Abushwesha is a BAFTA and European Film Academy-nominated producer. She produced The Singapore Grip by Christopher Hampton (Atonement, Dangerous Liaisons) with Colm Meaney, Charles Dance and Jane Horrocks, The ABC Murders with John Malkovich and Rupert Grint, Netflix Original Irreplaceable You with Christopher Walken, Steve Coogan and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, The Last Photograph with Danny Huston and Sarita Choudhury. She is the founder of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Showcase and Competition. A Screen Star of Tomorrow in 2017, she has written two Amazon best-selling books on screenwriting and filmmaking 

John Rhodes is an independent film producer with projects set up at Netflix and Hallmark. He is a co-founder of ScreenCraft.org and Red Ampersand, Inc. which is dedicated to developing best-in-class software and programs for educating and discovering emerging talented screenwriters for the entertainment industry. He has worked at Open Road Films as an executive acquiring and releasing such films as The Grey starring Liam Neeson and End of Watch starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Additionally, he worked as a creative executive at Media Talent Group for A-list clients including Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Billy Bob Thornton. Rhodes got his start in the industry as a development assistant and story editor working for producers Gigi Pritzker and Linda McDonough, helping to develop such films as the Cannes award-winning Drive, and the sci-fi epic Ender’s Game and Academy Award-nominee Rabbit Hole.
