WGA Awards Update: Colin Quinn to Replace Kamau Bell as Host

UPDATE: Colin Quinn is stepping in to replace comedian W. Kamau Bell as host the 66th Writers Guild Awards ceremony in New York City on February 1st, 2014. Quinn is most recently the star of his one-man show "Colin Quinn Unconstitutional," along with his role on HBO's Girls. He was previously the host of MTV's Remote Control, SNL's Weekend Update and Comedy Central's Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn.
The Writers Guild Awards will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1, with simultaneous ceremonies in New York and L.A.
The WGA Awards' New York ceremony will feature honorees including The Wire creator David Simon, Focus Features ex-CEO James Schamus and 1010 WINS' Philip V. Pilato.
Last year's award for best original screenplay went to Mark Boal for Zero Dark Thirty.
