by ScreenCraft Staff on October 13, 2013

ScreenCraft has partnered with CraveOnline and JustinTV to create a special Q&A panel this Tuesday at Screamfest 2013. Whether in person in L.A. or by viewing online, you don't want to miss this conversation with action, thriller and horror filmmakers and industry leaders.

The panel, titled The Art, Business and Future of Genre Filmmaking, will be moderated by Variety senior film critic Peter Debruge.

Members of the panel include Don Handfield, a producer, writer, actor and director; Garrick Dion, Senior Vice President of Development for Bold Films; Ray Siegle, an actor and stunt performer; Michael Colleary, a writer and producer; and Lucy Mukerjee, SVP Development at After Dark Films.

Handfield is producing two upcoming films, "Kill the Messenger" and "Aztec Warrior." He wrote and directed ""Touchback" for Anchor Bay. Dion is an Ithaca College graduate who worked in development and editing documentaries before becoming VP of Development for Bold Films. Siegle has created action and stunt sequences for dozens of major studio films, such as "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Expendables," "Iron  Man 3," "The Fighter" and "Limitless." Colleary's writing credits include "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," "Unnatural History," Tarzan" and "Faceoff." Mukerjee is a voting member of the Producers Guild of America and BAFTA, as well as a member of several film committees. She has produced 18 theatrically-released feature films and has been an executive in the acquisition of more than 40 horror movies for "Horrorfest: 8 Films To Die For."

This impressive panel of industry leaders and filmmakers will discuss the future of horror, thriller and  action filmmaking.

Tickets for the event are limited, so if you're going to be in the Los Angeles area this Tuesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET, hurry and get your tickets for the live event. Prices for tickets are $25 each and can be purchased through the Screamfest website.

If you will not be in L.A., you can still access the panel through live-streaming video hosted by ScreenCraft and CraveOnline. The video will also be available on JustinTV's website.
