It's always fun to hear excited fans getting to encounter the film industry. Here's a fun recent Reddit thread about a young aspiring filmmaker getting a special script...
"When I first came to LA in 2008, I met with the VP of William Morris (Tarantino's Agent) who was a family friend to talk about what I should do for school. He gave me some advice about avoiding film school and focusing on a specific trade, and taking classes in history or literature to improve storytelling. I told him my interest in film editing, and he encouraged me over the years and really helped me get to where I needed to be in the Film Industry. Before I left the meeting that day though, he asked me if I read the leaked script for Inglourious Basterds, and I told him "No, but I did buy the original Inglorious Bastards on DVD to learn more about the origin of that title." He called to his secretary and asked if she had any spare copies lying around and she said she didn't. So he walked over to his desk and grabbed his own copy and handed it to me, and that's when I saw the cover and geeked out." - From LawLayLewLayLow on Reddit
