Now Launching The 2014 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship!

Today we officially announce the launch of the 2014 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship! We began the fellowship program last year with the goal of not merely finding great scripts but also finding great writers with exceptional voices and portfolios who we could champion, develop, and guide in finding representation.
T.A. Snyder, Amanda Parham and Rob Haffey were painstakingly selected out of more than 1300 entrants. After honing their projects with us, we gathered them in Los Angeles and put them in as many rooms as we could. Sometimes collectively and sometimes on their own, they met with Anonymous Content, Kaplan/Perrone, Buffalo 8, 3 Arts, Treehouse Pictures, and Resolution. They learned tips of the trade from industry mentors like producer/director Don Handfield, screenwriter Michael Colleary, and international story consultant and NBC's Writers on The Verge instructor Jen Grisanti.
This was a baptism-by-fire blitz, and all three of these exceptional storytellers did fantastic. They pitched their projects and themselves with earnestness and poise, and we're so happy to report that less than a year later all three have secured top-level representation at companies Like Paradigm and Anonymous Content and are actively jumpstarting their careers.
Now we're ready to do it again! The 2014 ScreenCraft Fellowship is once again presented by Celtx screenwriting and pre-production software, used by 4.6 million writers in 170 countries. This time we're also adding The Fault In Our Stars, The Spectacular Now and (500) Days of Summer screenwriter Scott Neustadter and Academy Award-nominated producer Jordan Horowitz (The Kids Are All Right) to the mix!
We are open for both feature and pilot submissions immediately and will be accepting until December 15th. We’ll be providing updates about the Fellowship regularly on Facebook and Twitter.
