News: Three-Time Black List Writing Duo Having a Good "Week"

Three-time Black List writing duo Evan Mirzai and Shea Mirzai have a new spec, Our Week With Walker, out with a lot of buzz around it. The brothers are repped by Allen Fischer at Principato-Young and Adam Kanter and Martin Spencer at Paradigm.

The script centers around two hopelessly overmatched Americans who, after getting laid off, cash in their vacation pay and head abroad to Spain where they run afoul of a German terrorist and the beautiful British INTERPOL agent pursuing him.

The story has elements of recent comedy hits like Spy and 21 Jump Street, with broad comedy appeal and strong action-driven set pieces.

The twin brothers have made The Black List three times with their spec scripts Beauty Pageant, Diablo Run, and Doppelgangers.
