In the 1970s there was no director more respected for his endeavors than Francis Ford Coppola. He ushered in the decade with The Godfather, took time off to make The Conversation, somehow topped them both with The Godfather Part II, and closed the 1970s with the most expensive and arguably the most ambitious feature of that time, Apocalypse Now.
While his later output may not have had the level of influence his early sweet spot did, there is no denying that Coppola made an indelible and everlasting mark on world cinema as a writer/director. Listen to his creative process and see if it impacts your own!
