Announcing the Sci-Fi Screenplay Contest!

by ScreenCraft on May 11, 2015

Finally, after many requests from screenwriters and producers, team ScreenCraft is thrilled to announce the inaugural Sci-Fi Screenplay Contest! A beloved genre with a long history of box office success that continues to infuse the cultural and philosophical fabric of our lives, science fiction and movies have gone together since the dawn of cinema.  We couldn't be more pleased with the calibre of judges for this first annual sci-fi feature film screenplay contest.  The contest includes judges from Lionsgate, Universal, Sony, Paramount an CAA!

Especially worth celebrating is our featured judge, CAA agent Fred Spektor, whose iconic clients include Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Jeremy Irons, Dan Aykroyd, John-Henry Butterworth (writer: Edge of Tomorrow), Stephen Hopkins (Predator 2, Lost in Space) and many more.  It's an honor to have him reading and evaluating our finalists; Mr. Spektor's passion for science fiction and his many years of experience in Hollywood make him an ideal partner for ScreenCraft's inaugural sci-fi screenwriting competition.

The grand prize is $2,000 cash and a phone call with a top Hollywood literary manager!
