Announcing Nicaragua Screenwriting Retreat Winner!

Today we're excited to announce that Forrest Naylor has been selected as the grand prize winner of the Alta Retreats screenwriting competition for a full-paid scholarship and flight to the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua!

In partnership with our friends Jen Grisanti and Alta Retreats, the retreat will offer up to 18 screenwriters the opportunity to mentor directly with Jen Grisanti and write in a peaceful, luxurious eco-retreat with panoramic ocean views.

The retreat will be capped at 18 attendees, so there will be plenty of time with the instructors and plenty of private time to write with a pristine ocean view. Optional daily yoga classes will be available as well.

Acclaimed screenwriting instructor Jen Grisanti has worked with over 800 writers specializing in television, features and novels. Due to her guidance, seventy-five of her clients have staffed as writers on television shows, forty of her clients have sold scripts, and five of those pilots scripts have gone to series!
