2022 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition Winners

We are very excited to announce the Winners of the 2022 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition. These exceptional pilots were selected from almost 3,800 submissions. Congratulations to these writers!
Grand Prize Winner
Who Is Monica Strange? written by Andrea Shawcross
Desperate to uncover the truth about her father’s disappearance, a true crime-obsessed teen podcaster moves to a secretive small town where she teams up with a savvy local lifeguard to find a missing girl.
Half-Hour Winner
Dale Farm written by Dorie Chevlen
After falling through a wormhole in 1821, a girl emerges in 2021 to discover her family farm is now a cash-strapped historical museum, staffed by a ragtag crew who take it upon themselves to teach her how America has changed the last 200 years—and how it's stayed the same.
One-Hour Winners
Ode To Psyche written by Alex Morf
Two gifted but wildly different strangers become inextricably linked by a mysterious shared vision that plunges them into a dark conspiracy of experts hell-bent on crashing through the doors where science meets the divine.
Tupperware Party written by Marguerite Spellman
When Janine, a former World War 2 Women's Army Corps vet and now bored housewife, discovers Tupperware, her desire to become the top dealer becomes an unhealthy obsession.
We'd also like to spotlight One Eyed Pirate Lil by Mike Anderson as an Honorable Mention.
In addition to the ScreenCraft team, this year's jury included Crystal Holt (Director of Development & Current Programming, AMC Network), Edwin Chung (Vice President, Comedy Development, 21st Century Fox), Rocio Melara (Director of Development, Hillman Grad Productions), Yahlin Chang (Emmy & WGA-nominated TV Writer and Executive Producer), and Chris Van Dusen (TV Creator, Showrunner of Netflix's Bridgerton).
Last but not least we will notify later this week the writers who will be invited to participate in this year's Showrunner Mentorship Program.
