The 2018 ScreenCraft Writers Summit in Atlanta is SOLD OUT!

The 2018 ScreenCraft Writers Summit, presented by the Atlanta Film Fest is sold out, but we have a waitlist, just in case a couple of spots open up last-minute. Atlanta is the entertainment industry’s busiest city for film and TV production, outpacing Los Angeles last year!

Confirmed speakers and mentors include:

The Summit will kick-off Friday, April 13th 2018, the shared opening day for both the ScreenCraft Writers Summit and the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival, and end on the 16th.


  • Four days of panels and workshops with Oscar, Emmy and WGA winning writers of film and television
  • Summit opening night reception for all attendees and panelists
  • Atlanta Film Festival Opening Night Gala on Friday April 13th
  • Daily Writers Happy Hours with complementary beer & wine
  • The Pitch Competition – Have your 90-second pitch judged to make it into the top
    five, who will pitch to celebrity judges for an amazing prize and bragging rights
    as the “Best Pitch of the Summit!” (free for all Summit badge-holders to enter)
  • ATLFF Saturday and Sunday Night parties
  • The Mentor Sit-Downs:  Small group personal meetings with industry panelists to
    take your writing and business savvy to the next level
  • The Industry Lunch: a casual catered lunch with the panelist of your choice
  • Mimosa Brunch on Monday April 16th

Panels and Workshops will include: Screenplay Craft and Structure, Adapting Intellectual Property, Writing the Television Pilot, How to Secure and Work With an Agent/Manager, Producing Independent Film and returning attendee favorite The Failure Panel. In addition to high-level writers, the “Your Voice” track will offer panels and instruction specifically for writers and filmmakers in the Atlanta area to utilize the local production expertise to produce and create content.  There will also be programming dedicated to diversity on-screen and faith-based content, topics of great interest for Atlanta artists and beyond.
