2014 Family Screenplay Contest Final Deadline is Dec. 30th!

It's that time again!  The 2nd annual Family-friendly Screenplay Contest final deadline is December 30th at 11:59pm PT.  This is the fourth (and last) genre-specific screenplay contest of the year!  Because family films represent over 50% of all box office receipts, we have especially high interest in family-friendly film projects from our network of agents, managers, producers and development executives.  A family-friendly film usually appeals to the "four quadrants" of audiences.  We're especially interested in films that have a life-affirming message that's friendly to a faith-filled worldview.  The successes of such faith-friendly films as SOUL SURFER and FIREPROOF underscores the demand for such films among underserved religious audiences.

This year's contest jury includes executives from Affirm Films, Chernin Entertainment and Sony Pictures.
