Pilot Launch Contest adds Literary Manager Lee Stobby as a judge!

We're excited to announce that our Pilot Launch TV Script Contest has added Caliber Media's literary manager Lee Stobby as a judge! He will also be available to meet for lunch or dinner with our winners who will fly out to Los Angeles for network meetings!

A graduate from the University of Michigan, Lee Stobby began his Hollywood career working at Misher Films and Double Feature Films before working with talent manager Sandra Chang at Industry Entertainment. He now works as a literary manager at Caliber Media Co. representing successful writers, directors and personalities across all media platforms. In 2012, Lee produced the independent feature film ABBY IN THE SUMMER, which stars Jaime Pressly, Robin Thicke, Frances Conroy and Joey Lauren Adams and is currently in post-production.

Lindsay Stidham who wrote Sundance hits DOUCHEBAG and SPOONER for director Drake Doremus; Kate Trefry whose script PURE O just won the first annual Tracking Board Launch Pad contest; Emil Stern who wrote TENDERNESS starring Russell Crowe for Lionsgate, THE LIFE BEFORE HER EYES starring Uma Thurman for 2929, and LEGENDS OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE, which Zack Snyder directed for Warner Bros.; filmmaker Rodney Ascher whose documentary ROOM 237 was the talk of Sundance and Cannes last year and just released to thunderous reception; and writer/director team of J. Mackye Gruber (THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, FINAL DESTINATION 2) & David Matalon.
