All badge sales are fully refundable minus a $50 processing fee until January 1st, 2021. After that date, all purchases are non-refundable. All badges are non-transferrable.

Can I buy individual tickets to specific sessions?

No, individual tickets for Summit sessions are not available.

Ok I bought my badge, how do I access the event?

Congratulations! You’ve got a great weekend ahead of you. A welcome email should arrive two weeks before the event, look for it no later than March 29th, 2021.

Details on how to access our virtual platform will be sent to you, after the welcome email.  Please make sure you check your email and spam filter, and if you do not receive any email from ScreenCraft, please contact us

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

To set yourself up for the most successful Summit experience, we recommend that you be well-rested and ready to learn and connect. Even though we’ll be safely in our own homes, you will be visible during the mixers and meet-ups, so it’s good to have good lighting and audio quality, and a quiet place to listen and speak. Use headphones if that helps! Check that your Internet connection is smooth, and if you want to get ahead think of some questions in advance!

Be sure not to miss the panel on “Career Tools for Writers: Networking, Meetings, and Breaking in” on Friday April 9th, as it will offer specific tips and tools for how to get the most out of the weekend.

Do I need to make a login or account with the platform?

Our tech platform, Hopin, allows for you to have a “virtual profile” that your fellow attendees can see, to facilitate chats and meetings.  Think of this as your virtual “badge”, if we were in person we’d be walking around wearing a badge around our neck!

It is up to you what you wish to include on your Hopin profile: photos, social media handles, etc.  You can add as much or as little as you like, it is not required to add anything at all. However, the more you include, the easier it will be for others to interact with you!

Instructions on how to set up your Hopin profile will be sent to you in the weeks before the event.

Do I need to sign-up for genre networking or networking with table hosts?

No. All networking and mixers are first come, first serve, but there will be rooms and networking opportunities to accommodate everyone.

Networking By Genre, on Friday April 9th, offers you the opportunity to join virtual "rooms" for Comedy, Sci-Fi, Horror, and more, to meet writers and future collaborators.

Open Networking with Table Hosts, on Saturday April 10th, is a chance to rotate through virtual tables as you meet fellow writers, industry professionals, and special hosts.

Will there be ASL interpretation and/or Closed Captioning?

Whenever possible, we will provide simultaneous ASL translation and/or closed captioning.

For any specific questions about additional needs, please email us.

Will you have a new T-Shirt for this event?

Summit T-shirt sales have now ended. If you're heartbroken, please email ScreenCraft Support, we may have one or two in the vault.
