ScreenCraft Writers Summit Rescheduled to 2021

by ScreenCraft on March 12, 2020

Dear Friends,

This announcement comes with a heavy heart, but in light of worldwide health concerns, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule our 4th ScreenCraft Writers Summit to next year. Previously scheduled for April 24th-27th, 2020, the Summit will be returning to Chicago April 23-26, 2021

Nearly all confirmed panelists have enthusiastically committed to join us next year, and we’ll be announcing additional industry speakers in the coming weeks. See the list of confirmed panelists here

The Summit has always been an unforgettable experience.  We’re taking this additional time to build a bigger 2021 event with even higher-level panelists, dedicated networking, and inspirational panels like never before.

Your badge will automatically be transferred to next year’s event.  If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled event, we’re honoring refund requests until March 23rd, 2020. Please note that with next year’s expanded event, badge prices have gone up, and you will not be able to re-purchase a badge for less than the amount you’ve already paid.

If you choose to keep your current badge and join us at the 2021 Summit, we’re excited to add the following to your existing registration:

  • A $50 ScreenCraft Competition Gift Card, sent on March 24th
  • An invitation to a party with VIP panelists at the 2021 event, exclusive to you, the “Chicago Year One” badge holders, who registered before this notice

As challenging as this has been, we’re so grateful for this community, and we can’t wait to see you in 2021.

- Emily, John, Mark, Aimy, Tom, Maggie, Sarah, Jen and the entire ScreenCraft Writers Summit team
