It's an exciting time if you're an aspiring tv writer because we've got an unprecedented pilot contest coming your way. We're searching far and wide for the next great hour drama and 30 minute comedy pilots for network or cable television. We want that diamond in the rough that we can champion to our industry contacts and move forward. So we need you. And you need us.

We're partnering with our good friends and colleagues at Script Chix, a top-notch script consultancy. Like us, they offer consulting, events, and writing assistance to aspiring and established screenwriters throughout the world, and they know television inside and out. Check out their bio here.

What are we offering in our contest, you might ask? Grand prize winners will receive round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, a two-night stay in the historic Culver Hotel, and meetings with showrunners and network executives. To top it off, the grand prize includes a day at Universal Studios, Hollywood. The contest offers a potentially career-launching grand prize, by connecting writers directly with executives, agents and managers in a comfortable, one-on-one environment. First and runner-up prizes include subscriptions to The Wrap’s Powergrid, a conference call with ScreenCraft and Script Chix, and a complementary pass to The Great American Pitchfest in June 2014!
