DIY Horror Screenplay Marketing

by ScreenCraft on February 25, 2013

Writers pursuing passion projects and working on spec (the vast majority of all of us writers) may not always realize that you don't need a killer agent and studio interest to get your scripts read and possibly sold. You can try the DIY method and market yourself.  After all, if your product is good, all you need is to find your market.  And all exposure is good exposure.  Screenwriter Henrik Holmberg is doing just that with his horror and thriller projects.

On his site horror-scripts.com, Henrik provides professional and captivating loglines for several of his screenplays and is offering them up to be optioned by filmmakers looking for horror scripts. His layout is to-the-point and offers a new paradigm that is starting to catch on.  New paradigms are transforming the business of entertainment content production and distribution, which is what we're most interested in at Screen Craft.   Check out his site for some inspiration on self-marketing your screenplays and writing services.
